Bali: Flight and Hotel

Bali is 2 ½ hours away from Singapore by plane. We went there via Garuda Indonesia airlines, which I thought was a budget airline. I was surprised that there were meals and in-flight movies.

Yes, the meal was good.

There were a lot of movies to choose from. I watched “The Little Black Dress”, a Korean movie with English sub title. I wasn't able to finish it though...

Immigration checkout and baggage retrieval were a breeze. After checkout, we were fetched by the tour service and after 5 minutes of travel, we arrived in Aston Kuta Hotel.

Initially, we were given a two-single bedroom. We requested for a queen-size bed but we were only able to transfer the next day since all rooms with queen size were all booked. Yes, there were a lot of tourists.

There's almost no difference between the two rooms, except for the size of the bed and the balcony for the twin room, which we were not able to use because there is not much scenery to look at...

Wi-Fi is not free, they charge 50,000 IDR per day but they have couple of internet stations at the 2nd floor and free wi-fi in the lobby and restaurant.

An elegant pool, especially at night with its laser lights.
